The St. Johns County Behavioral Health Consortium (SJCBHC), seeks to identify and meet Behavioral Health needs in our community through assessment, advocacy and service implementation. The Children's Behavioral Health Summit is held to bring together a broad representation of stakeholders in our community in order to initiate strategic planning to "make children a priority in our community". The St. Johns County Behavioral Consortium invites members of our county to attend the Children's Behavioral Health Summit 2019 on October 14th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00p.m., at First Coast Technical College. Keynote Speaker: Kimberly Renk Ph.D., "Mitigating toxic stress in infants and young children." Dr. Renk is currently an Associate Professor in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where she directs the Understanding Young Children and Families Research Clinic and Laboratory.

Members of the consortium include: state and local government officials, school district personnel, medical care agencies, law enforcement, behavioral health organizations, volunteer groups, advocates, and consumers. Meetings are held monthly to ensure that all of our stakeholders are working in collaboration to increase access to services and to improve substance abuse and mental health outcomes for our all members of our community.
